5G and MWC Barcelona 2019

The world is on the brink with open arms to welcome a new guest in 2019 - 5G Network and MWC2019
With the technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things(IoT) round the corner, the world seems to be super ready to welcome a guest with open arms- 5G network in 2019. The world is changing at a very fast rate with the technological advancements.

A decade ago, we could never think of the food being delivered to our doorsteps via Zomato, Swiggy or Uber Eats which is now possible only due to the transformation of the way we are handling our technology. Moreover, these advancements also need a good support from a very common friend of all the people- the Internet. The internet users are increasing day by day, so are the demands of providing them with a better quality network.

The internet world is getting ready to be shifted from 4G network to 5G network which is going to be one of the hot and trending topics of 2019. Few countries in the world have already started the work to fasten the process of implementation of 5G network in their respective countries. China has already launched 5G network services in the high-altitude plateau of Qinghai-Tibet after the opening of a base station for the network in the city of Xining. The government of the country had announced to develop new wireless technologies such as 5G network in the region in April 2018.

Currently, part of the downtown area is provided with 5G data service, with a peak download speed of 1.3 gbps which is much more than that of 4G network. “The application of 5G technology will result in massive changes for both consumers and enterprises,” said Jeff Weisbein, founder and CEO of a leading Digital Media company named Best Techie.

“5G networks will offer consumers incredible broadband speeds at home (up to 20Gb/s). It will also enable companies to make advancements such as even smarter, better connected cars, advancements in medical technologies and improved retail experiences through personalization.” Amidst all this, South Korea has been a leading country which is having a functioning 5G connection. This had started in the late 2018 when South Korea announcing to the world that they have already arrived at the biggest stage in terms of connectivity and speed.

South Korea has been the path bearer for the leading countries of the world if we talk about internet trends in recent years. In reality, it has already boasted 45% of all internet connections at a speed of more than 10 Mbps. It is also expected that a major part of the population of South Korea will get the 5 G connection by the end of 2019.The other countries of the world which are just behind South Korea are Japan with a high-speed broadband usage of 43%, followed by Switzerland at 37%.

Samsung, LG, Google, Huawei, Sony, Lenovo, Motorola, One Plus, Nokia, HTC, ASUS, Honor, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, ZTE – the list is almost all-encompassing with each brand in queue for the 5G package. MWC2019 is the event to look forward to. The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 is happening in Barcelona from 25 to 28 February. And with this even expect quite a few launches to be happening soon.
